BANKS FAIL: Failure list Februrary 18, 2011

Breaking news this AM caught my eye: 4 banks failed - info released Friday. I went to the FDIC page and found more.

Talk in many circles is that the dollar is devaluing (buy gold) and that by summer the dollar may be well close to dead if not totally worthless.  In other circles people seem oblivious to the what is happening other than the CPI (consumer price index) raises every month and gas prices are killing them - raising the price per gallon almost daily.

This is just burning me up that smaller banks are failing while larger banks that have harmed the country with foreclosure fraud, mortgage fruad, toxic loan and greed are bailed out and left standing... Below is partial list from the FDIC page. you can find more information at FDIC.gov.

Dollar Committing Suicide? Jon Stewart - Printing Money of Not? VIDEO (funny)

December 8, 2010 -  Printing money or not printing money.  We are victim of our own hi-tech solutions and our dollar is committing suicide on the press. Watch the video below for a humorous look at what is happening in our economy - and our dollar's suicide.  Until we were hard hit by foreclosures and involved with homeowners fighting to save homes, I had no clue  Jon Stewart was so funny, with a grasp on issues that media often doesn't seem to "get its teeth into."
